Methodology

Version h1 sums weighted public signals and clamps risk to 0–100; RX equals 100 minus risk. Signals are not conclusive evidence. The boundaries are published below.

Account age: under 7 days +25; under 30 +18; under 90 +10; under one year +4. Default avatar +12; empty bio +6. Posts/day above 144 +20, above 72 +14, or above 36 +8.

Follower/following ratio below 0.05 with at least 200 following +12, or below 0.2 with at least 100 following +7. At least 4,900 following with followers below one tenth +8. Fewer than 10 followers after 30 days +5.

Over 1,000 posts with fewer than 10 likes +6; a handle ending in six or more digits +10; paid verification under 30 days +6; no lists with over 10,000 followers and age over one year +5; age over five years with at least 10 lists −10. Business/government verification −20 when available locally; verification type is not sent with reports. Only the strongest age, velocity, and ratio signal applies.

Install trust starts at 0.5 and stays within 0.1–3.0. Confirmation adds 0.15 × (3 − trust) / 3; rejection subtracts 0.25, or 0.6 instead for bad faith. Threshold = 3 × age factor × reach factor × (1.4 − risk/100). Crossing it only opens human review. Fresh-install and shared-network campaigns are discounted; no automatic publication occurs.

Age factor: under 30 days 0.5; under 365 days 1; under five years 1.5; otherwise 2. Reach factor = 1 + log10(max(followers, 10)) / 3, capped at 3. An install younger than 72 hours contributes min(trust, 0.3). Weights sum distinct installs with an open report in the last 30 days, after brigading discounts.

Within six hours: if over half the reports come from installs younger than seven days, their weights multiply by 0.25. Ten or more reports from one IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /48 prefix count as one report at the maximum trust. A rate above five times the 30-day median in the same follower decile flags possible brigading.

Trust moves toward 0.5 by 2% per full inactive week. Rejection needs one vote, or two for possible brigading. Bad faith limits reporting to one per day for seven days. An independently approved appeal applies the existing rejection adjustment once to the overturned case; Production appeals remain disabled pending ADR-007 acceptance.
